About the Company

Welcome to California Babestuff!  This long-standing business has now moved to New York.  We are located in upstate New York near Albany, the state capital, and Saratoga Springs, the well-known horse-racing community.  We are very excited about our opportunity to continue this wonderful business while promoting cloth diapering and attachment parenting.  My husband and I are co-operating the business so you may be in contact with either of us.  I am currently a stay-at-home mom.  I have my bachelor’s degree in mathematics and after graduating from college I taught high school math and science (chemistry, mainly) for five years.  I then spent a couple of years working on my master’s degree.  I just received my master’s in January in Atmospheric Chemistry; my specific research has been in air pollution.  In the fall, I will begin working on my doctorate in the same field. 

My husband, Nate, is a mechanical engineer.  He currently works in the HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) sector of the business.  We have a beautiful daughter who was born in August of 2005.  She is wonderful and keeping us happily busy!

Nate and I also spend a lot of time running.  We have both completed the Boston Marathon.  I have run 4 marathons and Nate has run 3.  We are currently working on training for our next one.  We both belong to local running clubs and compete regularly at many distances.

Nate and I have been so excited about cloth diapers, and we are very eager to be a part of promoting their use.  As avid outdoorsmen, loving to hike, canoe, garden, and run, we want to preserve our environment.  Cloth diapering is a very tangible way to make a difference.  We have found that many people are interested in cloth diapering, but don’t know where to begin.  We want to be part of the education and promotion of cloth diapering.  We are also committed to attachment parenting, especially breastfeeding, and continue in the same mindset as the original founder of this company. 

Please be patient with us as we endeavor to take over this business.  It will take some time to learn the details of the business and get familiar with all the products, though we have been customers of California Babestuff and have loved all of the products that we have used.  We are committed to providing the best customer service possible.  Please look through our site here and come back often for changes and additions.  We welcome your email, comments, and suggestions.  If you have questions about products or need information, we will do our very best to answer them.  Please note that we are very interested in providing the best customer service possible.  We will do our utmost to get you what you need if we don't have it in stock.
